HESKEY OFF THE MARK

Aston Villa's Emile Heskey bagged his first goal for Aston Villa on Saturday and couldn't of be more delighted.

The England forward finally broke his duck against West Ham in 1-1 draw and as Emile tells AVTV, it was nice to get his first goal in front of the home fans at Villa Park.

"It was very nice to get the first goal at Villa Park and hopefully I'll get many more.

"It was just nice getting the goal and going 1-0 up. In recent weeks we've been going behind and having to come back, but it was nice to go ahead."

"I just anticipated him (Noble) playing it back to the goalkeeper so I got there and it was disappointing that it hit the inside of the post.

"The lads have taken to me really well so hopefully we can carry on in that same vein. It's been really good."
