Bellamy Injury Latest

Manchester City are sitting tight this morning waiting to find out the extent of Craig Bellamy's Knee injury.

The Welshman picked up the injury against Hamburg on Thursday and it seems the injury is a re-occurrence of the one he had back in March, which saw him sidelined for several games.

There was also more bad luck for Sparky in Germany as Benjani hobbled off with a thigh strain which is also a re-occurrence of a problem which had left him laying on the treatment table earlier on in the season.

Bellamy will arrive back in Manchester today(Friday) and will have a scan to find out the true extent of the injury and with City playing Fulham on Sunday and Hamburg next Thursday, its two games Hughes could of done with the Welshman.
