Barry may clock off

ASTON VILLA have 10½ hours to ensure Gareth Barry stays at the club.

The Villa and England midfielder, 28, will decide whether to stay or quit at the end of the season.

And with seven games to go, the clock is ticking.

Barry, 28, is desperate to play Champions League football but Villa have slid to fifth in the table.

He said: “My aim is to finish in the top four and play in the Champions League.”

Boss Martin O’Neill said: “If we qualify for the Champions League there’s a decent chance Gareth will stay.

"While six points is a big gap on Arsenal, we are not finished yet.”
