£100,000-A-WEEK FOR COLE

Joe Cole looks set to be offered a new four year deal worth £100,000-a-week at the end of the season.

Chelsea are looking to tie their England midfielder down with a new contract or they could see him walk away at the end of the 2009/10 season for nothing.

Cole's injury plagued Chelsea career looks set to be extended and that is mostly down to his form when he is actually fit, but Chelsea fans won't see him grace the turf at Stamford Bridge again until pre-season at least.

Whoever the new Chelsea manager is, he certainly thinks alot about Joe Cole and i know what you might be thinking? Yes i know they haven't announced who he is yet but through past experience these things are normally a done deal by February/March and the name plaque on the door by June.
